Duraflame has long been known for making quality heating products. For the 2012-2013 season, they're introducing some new models to go alongside the ever-popular Williams, Livingston, Colby and Dartmouth. Similar to last year's LifeSMART Stealth 6 Fireplace, the introduction of the pleasing "fireplace glow" is breaking into a lot of new models. But there's a reason they're able to offer new models and it all goes back to brand recognition. One of the first players in the residental infrared heating market, they've maintained a great reputation because of rich, durable woods, vast heating elements (6 quartz elements compared to 2 or 3 for most other infrared heaters, although LifeSMART has caught up since 2011), industry-low return rate and incredible tech support and customer service. In fact, all customers can find immediate help right on the web. Overall they're a great company to buy from with a rich history and we here at Infrared Heater Warehouse definitely enjoy having them on board!

Yes, this one is more expensive than the rest. Trust me, spend the extra money and get quality. This one is made of solid wood, has a beautiful finish, and is ready to use out of the box. The service provided by Infrared Heater Warehouse was excellent. My order was delayed by a week, but Jordan was always available to chat online whenever I needed. If you want a good quality, nice looking electric fireplace, just buy it!

Definitely an investment but it looks great and works really well. I got this for my son to put in his room since it's always colder in there than the rest of the house. For style and heat I highly recommend.
